What is BSAA , what does it do?
Bangkok Ship-owners and Agents Association plays an active role to promote the development of best practices for shipping matters in Thailand and to further enhance the image of our industry. BSAA have committees that focus on several aspects of shipping, including Port Development, Maritime public affairs, ICD and Eastern Seaboard developments, agency and conventional shipping, Customs and Maritime law. 2 . I need to send cargo to a specific country, can you provide me the name of shipping companies that can provide this service
You may look at our member directory where you fill find a profile of each member.

3 . Is BSAA able to provide estimates of shipping cost?
As shipping cost fluctuate with market development and from company to company, we are not able to provide estimates of shipping cost

4 . Who are the agents of the vessel showing in my documents?
At destination normally you can check from your freight forwarder, clearing broker, Port authority of Thailand, Customs Dept., negatively you have to revert to your shipper to check with loading carrier to confirm of vessel name, voyage number, sailing date and last vessel that enter Thailand.

5. Has the port charged my cargo at the correct tariff rate?
Both Laem Chabang Port or Bangkok Port have their tariffs listed at their respective websites.
