The Port
of Songkhla is located in the Gulf of Thailand at 07 13'.7 N.
100 34'.5 E. |

Access of Vessels |
|
1. Access for vessels entering or
leaving the port is via a 120 m wide channel dredged to -9.0 m
C.D. and some 4.0 km in length. |
|
2. There is a 300 m turning circle to
the westerly end of the quay. |
|
3. The tidal range on Springs is 0.6 m.
Mean sea level varies seasonally and from year to year. Mean
low water is +0.3 m C.D. with water levels below this predicted to
occur rarely. |

INLAND TRANSPORT LINKS |
|
Access to the port is via an asphaltic
concrete paved causeway from either: |
|
1. New Coastal Highway 4083 to Nakhon Si
Thammarat; or, |
|
2. Highway 407 from Hat Yai then via
Tinsulanonda Bridge. |
|

|
Fresh Water is available for sale and is
supplied to fire hydrants on the
quay. |
