on 640,000 sqm. of land, 380 kilometers south of Bangkok, at the
gateway to the country's rapidly developing Soutern Region.Prachuap
Port is the first to employ Accropode ® for the construction of
breakwaters in Thailand. The Accropode ® is an unreinforced concrete
block design which provides a strong protective facing for sea
defance and river embankment structures.
Its 'boomerang' shape and its highly effective interlocking rubber
mound blocks contribute to protecting vessels docked in the port.
The Prachuap breakwater is 6.50 meters above mean sea level and is
1,400 meters long. The port has fully
equipped berthing facilities and can accomodate a total of four

standards. The entrance channel is 250

is equipped with full international navigation aids and offers a
twenty-four hour service. Its telecommunications system complies
with international standards. There is a private pilot as berthing

1025 and the VHF channel is 13, 68.
